HRS Program – Insulation & Energy Upgrade Rebates

  • Two rebate streams are available:

    1. Home Energy Assessment Stream

    •Homes must be heated primarily by Enbridge Gas or electricity and connected to the Ontario grid

    •Maximum rebate of $5,000 (including $600 for home energy assessments) for Enbridge Gas-heated homes

    •Maximum rebate of $10,000 (including $600 for home energy assessments) for electrically heated homes

    • Requires a minimum of 2 qualifying upgrades

    2.Single Upgrade Stream (No home energy assessment required)

    •Eligible upgrades include:

    • Smart Thermostats

    • Cold Climate Air Source Heat Pumps

    • Ground Source Heat Pumps

    • Solar PV systems & battery storage
